Malladi BharaniPrabha

Short Bio

Malladi BharaniPrabha is a Graduate Visiting Scholar at University of California, Santa Cruz. Malladi received her B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India, and her M.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, she worked as an Application Engineer for LMS North America Inc., and as a Research Fellow at National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore, India. She recently defended Ph.D. work at University of Arizona, titled, “Hybrid Control and Estimation for Spacecraft Close-Proximity Missions.”  Her research interests lie in the scope of hybrid systems, rigid body pose control and model predictive control (MPC). Malladi has particular research interest in autonomous systems with an emphasis towards automotive and aerospace applications.
